Dr. Greenspan has been caring for my multitude of pets for many years now and helped our family through a number of difficult treatments. The one that immediately comes to mind though, is last year's medical emergency with my Doberman Comet. Comet was having some degree of difficulty getting comfortable - he was eating, drinking, running around...just wasn't right. I thought maybe a virus but Dr. Greenspan had me take him to the ER vet since their tests could be run more quickly. He had a spontaneous pneumothorax - a small hole in his lung which collapsed both lungs. Dr. Greenspan kept talking it through with me on the phone - he spoke with other surgeons and had them hold the surgery until the following day to determine if it was the best action to take. I eventually requested his recommended surgeon, the surgery was successful - and Comet is doing amazingly well. He had a HUGE surgery and a great recovery. You'd never know he'd been through anything at all - he's my golden boy and I'm very thankful for his super care.
